The Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development is responsible, among other things, for the implementation of European (CAP) and national agricultural policy. With PAN-Bio 2025, the Ministry is sending a strong political signal: the expansion and promotion of organic agriculture and organic viticulture enjoy national priority – as important building blocks to achieve the ambitious national and European goals in environmental and climate protection.

The Ministry’s services have been closely networked with private organic stakeholders in Luxembourg for years in order to promote research, inspection, education and training in the organic sector as well as in conventional agriculture.
